The Mission of CAI, INC

CAI seeks to catalyze a process to improve both the
quality & quantity of educational outcomes, employment, the
health & well-being of persons living in under served neighborhoods.

At the same time CAI seeks to change the relationship between poor
neighborhoods and the systems outside their boundaries by drawing on
external sources of knowledge, resources and collaborations.

Our Latest Initiative

CAI, INC is currently developing a youth driven community partnership
whereas youth are given the power and responsibility to plan program
goals and strategies. For the past four years, we have been utilizing
youth as coaches, peer coordinators, counselors, and associate program
directors with great success. Their understanding of how young people
feel and think has already increased outreach, recruitment and program
retention.
